It is no accident!
It is a simple thing to show what I think about the therapeutic riding, what is the spirit what I stick to. I don't want to persuade anyone of the truth of the CASE, but we welcome everyone who would like to join us!
Goal: every needies can reach the therapeutic riding!
Unfortunetly, in this country we could find only some places for this development program. It would be the best if we could build therapeutic riding centers in 60-80 km districts, and all development forms could be available for everyone. It is a huge work what is beyond our power but I think we got many experiences with founding of Paci Doki Foundation, and if we hand these experiences on, we can help to cover the whole country.
I am not a therapeutist!
A few years ago I began to take interest in this therapy to develop my disabled brother's condition. I read medical and specialized literature. I remember an anecdote in connection with this: about a "cataract- smith" old peasant, who – with a sharp clasp- knife – removed the cataract perfectly from the patient's eye. He did it until a famous professor heard about it and invited him for a cataract extraction. He explained him how difficult is the sctructure of the eye, how many sensitive nerve cells are in the some millimeters tissue. Since that time the little old man's hands started to tremble, and he never sharpened his knife again. My "hands" have not trembled ever. I studied more and more at the specialized literature of therapeutic riding! ...and it is not from my arrogance! If someone read up develop of the therapeutic riding, it can be seen clearly, we need 5-10 years for the condition- system will be near the perfect.
The children who need development don't have time to wait!
They will run out of time, while the development activities could be effective!
The people's work, who - like me- work without qualification (but who learn constantly), is very important. My activity is such a pressure, because I do everything to lift the circumstances of Paci Doki Foundation on such level that the therapeutists and specialists could work.
Because the National Health Insurance Company (OEP) don't support this therapy (!), the foundation keeps itself from donations. The therapy is free and the donations are not enough to employ specialists! The specialists help the work of the foundation occasionally as volunteers without payment!
I agree maximally with the training system of the Hungarian Therapeutic Riding League and the casemaps what is needed for carrying- on the therapeutic riding. There are some terms of the therapeutic riding to do it available for all needies: subsidy, teaching the needies, specialists and doctors for the theory and routine of the therapeutic riding. We need to start to work up the circumstances that more therapeutists could find places, where the circumstances are given and they can take the professional controll over. It is important they could not wait years to work and begin their work from nill! We need their knowledge!
There is a huge lag with the case of the handicapped people's development, but there is law for right of this development. At the most cases there aren't available development center. That's why are important the non- governmental organisation what care for this theme.
Unfortunately, the statistics show too, the number of the handicapped people is growing year after year, but there isn't enough capacity for the expansion! That's why more and more people must live in social institutions. Their development - except for less case – is not correct. They are living an inhuman life on drugs. With this they don't get into trouble. It's time to wake the society up, listen, care and help them and their development!
Why is the therapeutic riding?
I have to point out: it is not only therapeutic riding! The Paci Doki Foundation thinks about a complex development system, because the different therapies complete together and they are most effective if we use them all. Our theory of this is readable under the menu "Development project".
The most children's state could be developmentable if we begin the therapy at the fitting circumstances in the right time. If we are assiduous and patient these children's state will get better and when they grow up they can do – maybe with a little help- for themselves or work too! It is not a little challenge but not impossible!
Some time ago a finnish delegation visited to Csemő by the program Leader. I demonstrated them the activity of the foundation. They have listened me with interest but they didn't understand... I fight for a such goal in 2008, which has a worked- out and well functioning social institution since 1950 in their country. And they develop this system constantly. They have come for change the experiences, but they are more developed than us, and we didn't show them any new ways except for our walk- master device. I believe doggedly this handicap is surmountable with trust and care and supply with proficiency and empathy.
Yes, the empathy!
I believe, those people can co- operate the children's develope efficiently, who can imagine what could be the life in a wheel- chair like, and try to feel the handicapped children's feelings, sorrow, pleasure, fears in our "normal" world.
We would like to develop our homepage in this spirit. We try to give more and more information to the concerned to decide if therapeutic riding is right for complete the other therapies. They can get to know the departments and benefits of the therapeutic riding. Specialized literatures and casestudies can help to know the sphere of handicaps where these therapies are usable.
We do this at the spirit that the ignorance and perplexity should not be the obstruction of starting the development...
